Tuesday 18 October: ERA-IB Stakeholder Workshop

ERA-IB Stakeholder Workshop ERA

18 October 2011, 8:30 - 12:30

Novotel Amsterdam City Hotel

ERA-IB is an ERA-NET supported by the European Community. The ERA-NET "Towards an ERA in Industrial Biotechnology" brings the owners and managers of national and regional R&D programmes in the Member States together in order to strengthen the cooperation and coordination of their activities in the area of Industrial Biotechnology (IB). ERA-IB contributes to a European knowledge-based bio-economy by reducing fragmentation in IB R&D funding by pooling resources in joint calls for R&D proposals. You can find more information on the projects funded so far under the ERA-IB umbrella at www.era-ib.net.

In order to match the future joint calls in ERA-IB with the needs of IB stakeholders, ERA-IB asks input from its stakeholders via a workshop. The workshop will bring together selected key members of industry and academia to discuss and help ERA-IB to identify possible future call topics and compare especially industry needs with (national/regional) R&D priorities. The workshop can be attended by invitation only.

For more information on the workshop, contact the ERA-IB office via era-ib@nwo.nl (+31 (0)70 344 0537).
