EFIB 2009 brought together over 250 policy makers, representatives from NGOs, industry associations and initiatives, industrial biotechnology companies, materials and equipment suppliers, end users, consultants, researchers, investors, academia and media from 28 countries to discuss the crucial issues the IB sector is facing nowadays.
EFIB 2009 featured:

EFIB 2008

Hotel Bloom!, Brussels, Belgium Over 260 delegates from 23 countries from industry, research, policy making and investment fields attended the inaugural European Forum of Industrial Biotechnology, held in Brussels from 15 -17 September 2008. Organised jointly by EuropaBio and IntertechPira, the event featured 50 leading speakers who assessed the prospects for industrial biotechnology in Europe.
